THE MAN OF THE HOUR
As a graphic designer, collaborating with Irish artist Púca, also known as Colm Conlan, on the logo and branding for his debut single "Man of The Hour" was an incredible experience. Púca's music—a blend of techno, gothic ethereal vocals, and deeply authentic Irish influences—called for a visual identity that could truly capture his unique style.
To bring this vision to life, I drew inspiration from old Irish banknotes and incorporated a modern version of traditional Gaelic script into the logo. This design choice honored Púca's rich Irish heritage while giving it a contemporary twist that resonates with his innovative sound. The result was a logo that beautifully bridges the past and present, much like Púca’s music.
Applying this branding to "Man of The Hour" allowed us to create a cohesive visual narrative that perfectly complements Púca's artistry. The modernized Gaelic script, combined with elements that evoke both tradition and futurism, ensured that the logo and branding felt as timeless and unique as Púca himself.
