BUSINESS AS USUAL
On a day to day basis my role at EY involved a mixture of print, digital and social media production. There was always something to promote across EY's many varying sections, from Tax, to Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability, I produced a steady stream of BOA or Business As Usual materials. Whilst many materials were purely for internal eyes. There was also a consistent stream of social media posts as well as small brochures and leaflets to be uploaded on line for businesses to view digitally or print out and peruse.
At EY, mMthat kept my creativity flowing. I was tasked with creating everything from informative brochures for our Tax division to engaging infographics for our Artificial Intelligence projects. Each piece of content was an opportunity to simplify complex ideas and make them accessible to our audience. With a steady stream of "Business As Usual" materials, I enjoyed ensuring that our communications reflected the diverse initiatives within EY, making them clear and impactful
CREATIVE DIRECTION
In addition to day to day production, I would also be tasked with longer term large scale projects. Three of the most notable are shown below.
EY IRELAND SOCIETAL IMPACT REPORT 2023
I spearheaded the creative direction, layout, and design of the Societal Impact Report. I collaborated closely with contributors, ensuring cohesive content integration, and managed the production of chapter cover illustrations from our Midweight Designer. Additionally, I oversaw the creation of data visualizations by our Data Viz Designer, ensuring all elements seamlessly came together to present a visually compelling and informative report.
EY IRELAND ECONOMIC EYE WINTER FORECAST 2024
Using the theme of "The seeds of growth", stakeholders wished to convey a cautious optimism as the economy showed signed of growing the future. An interesting balance to strike, give the impression of growth without actually showing it
EY ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2023
As the Senior Designer at EY for the 2023 Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards in Ireland, I had the honor of leading the creative direction for this prestigious event, with the theme "The Art of Entrepreneurship." Central to our vision was the development of a branding logo that embodied this theme—a design reflective of a frame hanging on a wall, symbolizing how entrepreneurship is both an art form and a masterpiece in itself.
Collaborating closely with the organizing team, stakeholders, and suppliers, we crafted a visual identity that resonated with the event's theme and spirit. The frame logo served as a metaphor for the way entrepreneurs shape, define, and showcase their unique journeys, much like an artist does with their work.
I also had the privilege of leading our talented design team, ensuring that every visual element, from event materials to digital assets, aligned with this artistic vision. Over the course of the year, we meticulously executed a cohesive design strategy across all touchpoints, ensuring that the program of events and all associated assets went off without a hitch. It was a deeply rewarding experience to see our creative vision come to life, celebrating entrepreneurship as the true art form it is.
