At BWG Foods, I was responsible for creating a wide variety of design materials that supported both marketing initiatives and internal communications. I designed marketing brochures, catalogues, product packaging, and social media assets, all aimed at enhancing the visibility of BWG’s brands and driving customer engagement.
A standout moment during my time there was my involvement with Gay Spar for a special Pride campaign. While this wasn't a recurring annual task, the campaign had a significant impact. Drawing on my deep understanding of the LGBTQ community in Dublin, I designed inclusive promotional materials and in-store signage that celebrated Pride and resonated strongly with the community. The campaign received extensive social media engagement, went viral, and was featured across several online media outlets, making it a highly successful and memorable initiative. This unexpected success showcased the power of thoughtful, inclusive design in connecting with the public and elevating brand perception.
Throughout my time at BWG Foods, my ability to blend creativity with cultural insight allowed me to deliver designs that not only served their practical purpose but also created lasting impressions, particularly in campaigns like the one for Gay Spar that sparked meaningful conversations and widespread visibility.
